You went to bed tonight as a 7 year old and will wake up as an 8 year old. I can't believe how quickly the last 8 years have flown by. You amaze me everyday with your insight, kindness, and humor.
This year has brought out a lot of growth for you- you are more confident and willing to try new things. You love your group of friends and love school. You love learning and are like a sponge, telling me everything you did that day. Your favorite subjects are still reading and writing and you will try to talk me into letting you stay up just "5 more minutes" to finish a chapter in a book.
You love playing with Legos, Barbies, LOL dolls, making slime, and of course, you still love anything that involves arts and crafts.
The world is simply better with you in it. You are one of the most kindest, gentle hearted, inquisitive, and brave little girls I've ever known. By being your mom, I am a better person.
We all love you so much, today and everyday!!
