Wow, 8. It's Saidey's 8th birthday and we're already well into celebrating the special birthday girl!
Saidey, this year has been quite the year, with school being canceled, turning 7 during a pandemic, and virtual learning your entire 2nd grade year. I have seen you grow so much- sometimes, I have to remember you are only 7 (and now 8) because you are so independent and love to do things on your own. This year, you've really taken an interest in cooking- you love to help make tacos on taco night, you love helping me chop up vegetables, and you have started [carefully] using the oven for pizza and muffins or whatever else we're having.
You love Roblox, riding your bike [and now new hoverboard], running around barefoot, and anything active. You are up for anything and I can always count on some giggles and hearing something funny you say when we're hanging out.
You have such a special bond with your brother- you are so caring and thoughtful when it comes to him. I catch moments when you don't think anyone is looking- whether it's helping him get a snack, go to the potty, reading a book to him, or watching a show with him- that I see you taking care of him with such care and love. I love seeing those moments!
We are celebrating everything YOU today and we hope you know how special and loved you are!
Happy Birthday Saidey bug, we all love you so much!!
