Turkey Day, St. Louis, Swim Lessons, Baby S and more!

Man, I am realllllly struggling to keep this blog updated!! AHHH!! We will start off by talking about our Thanksgiving- we left Wednesday afternoon for St. Louis. Sophia did ok in the car, she got a little fussy the first 2 hours but after a pit stop and walking around in a parking lot for about 10 minutes, she made the rest of the trip pretty well. We had a great time in St. Louis with Aunt Sara, Gma and Gpa Scholtes. We had a yummy Turkey day dinner and had a nice time just relaxing and playing. On Friday, we headed to the zoo, where Sophia got to see her favorite monkeys, and much much more! We spent the rest of the weekend relaxing and just hanging out.

Sophia started swim lessons on November 17th and had a blast! After swim lessons we all headed to my Aunt Teri's for the Smith side Thankmas. Sophia had fun playing with all the other kids and we enjoyed some yummy food!

I am now almost in my 24th week of pregnancy and I am still feeling pretty good. We had our ultrasound and appointment and much to our enjoyment found out we are expecting another baby girl. She was all tucked up in a ball though so the U/S tech could not get a good look at her profile or certain parts of her heart. At our next appointment, we will do the glucose test and have another ultrasound so they can hopefully get a better look at those parts. We are just excited to be able to see her again! :) Everything else looked really good and she weights about 1 lb. 2 oz and her HR was 154. She has been moving like crazy and her little kicks and jabs are getting stronger each week. She has really started moving when we read bedtime stories to Sophia which is kind of neat. Needless to say, we are very excited and can't wait to meet our little addition to our family!

This weekend, Sophia went to Gma and Gpa Lee's house and had lots of fun spending time with them while Will and I worked on things around the house and got some Christmas shopping done. I think this is the first year that we actually have presents bought, wrapped and under the Christmas tree before Christmas Eve.

William has his graduation ceremony on December 20th so we are looking forward to that as well as seeing Gma and Gpa Scholtes and Aunt Sara when we will also do Christmas. Very proud of him and all his accomplishments! :)
