Weekend Recap: Pumpkin Patch Edition

We had such a great weekend, I couldn't let it go undocumented- and because I was definitely on the verge of over doing it on Instagram! =)

Friday started with Fall plays- the kiddos had fun but I got a glimpse of what it is like running back and forth between two kids' activities. Whew! After their Fall parties, we headed home and started getting ready for Night Eyes. The kids had fun at Night Eyes and we do try to go every year, but this year seemed different- a lot of things seemed to be closed- even parts of the zoo we were able to walk through last year. That was a little disappointing but it was still fun for the girls to walk through and get treats.

Saturday morning, we went to gymnastics and then came back home. I worked around the house, finished painting, and then got ready to head into the office for an hour to see a client. Will and the kids picked me up from work and we headed to Center Grove Orchard. As always, it was a blast and it was nice to go on a Saturday this year and not be rushed to get home. We grabbed a quick dinner on the way home and spent Saturday night hanging out on the couch watching movies.

We've been so bad at getting to church on Sundays and we were going to try to make it this weekend, but it just didn't happen :\ Instead, we patched nail holes in Sullivan's room so that we can touch up paint in there, I continued to paint, and work on laundry. We then got ready and headed to Valley Junction's Pumpkin walk. We had a fun time, the girls got to dress up, get some more candy, and test out their hoola hooping skills.

Sunday afternoon was spent grocery shopping and then carving and painting pumpkins.

All in all, it was a super fun filled weekend with all of my favorites! We have Saidey's Fall play on Tuesday, Beggar's Night on Tuesday (WDM's trick or treat night), church class on Wednesday, and the rest of the week is pretty quiet!

Thanks for visiting!
