Weekend Recap- ISF2015 Edition

WHEW! What a whirlwind of a weekend! I am seriously struggling this Monday morning with lack of sleep and gloomy skies we're having. With that, we had a super fun weekend despite the craziness. I am trying to soak up every last minute with school right around the corner and my baby heads to Kindergarten.

On Friday, we got a back to school haircut and then ran to Target to pick up some things. We had our weekly pizza night at Red Rossa and then headed home to get ready for bed early as we had an early morning the next day.

Sophia insisted on sleeping on the floor Fri night :)
On Saturday, we woke up bright and early and got ready to attend a six year old's birthday party in KC. We helped celebrate the birthday girl by going to Kaleidoscope where the girls got to get their creative juices flowing. After the birthday party, we headed to Ikea in KC to return some couch covers I got that don't fit our couch. MAJOR BUMMER. But we killed almost two hours, walking around and just looking. Aunt Sara came along for the ride- thanks for coming with our crazy crew- I know it's a little different shopping with two little monkeys! :) We had to get going to get home to Odin so we drove home, stopped at my mom's and grabbed Odin (she helped with him that day while we were gone) and we grabbed some Chick Fil A and headed home. The girls ate, played a little and went to bed a little later than normal. Will and I spent the rest of the night watching more episodes of Sons of Anarchy and stayed up way too late watching it.

Someone fell asleep on the way to KC- wondering if the hard floor the night before had something to do with it?

Babywearing saved the day at Ikea!

Sunday morning was nice and slow- we ate breakfast, the girls played and I picked up the house a little. We had an earlier lunch and all of us went down for naps. Dan and Mary arrived and then after naps, we headed to the fair.
What a good pup.. letting these two poke and prod him.

Overall, it was a great weekend and like most weekends do, flew by. This week will be no exception as we have Odin's first vet appointment, we're celebrating my birthday at Ohana's on Wednesday night with my family and then we have Sophia's back to school night on Thursday.

Have a great week all and see you back here on Wednesday! I'll be coming up with a list of 29 things I want to try in my 29th year of life! :) You don't want to miss it!
