I forgot to blog about what Sophia is doing at 5 months- which is quite an awful lot! It's amazing how much they change and although I should know this little fact from working with infants for 2 years, it never ceases to amaze me at how fast this journey is going already.
So here it is- things Sophia is doing at 5 months:
Eating 6 oz. every 3.5-4 hours
Sleeping 8:30-5:30 during the week and 9-8 during the weekend
Napping every 2 hours or so
Falling asleep on her own (mostly, there are some "rough" nights)
Rolling over like crazy- starting to double roll to get to something she wants
Taking an interest in Bo- Hasn't tried grabbing him, but follows his movements
Talking like crazy- we're working on dada, baba etc..
Smiling and giggling
Starting to sit up with boppy behind her
Eating peas, sweet potatoes, peaches, and pears
Starting to teethe- a white spot has appeared on the lower gums
Loves to read and will grow still upon hearing a story
